UI/UX Designer

RARo is looking for a talented and dynamic UI/UX Designer to be part of our newly founded team. The successful candidate should evidence a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology.

The role requires taking initiative, an eye for clean and artful design and a strong ability to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction. The candidate must work well with a team of people who are committed to growing a company at a high speed.

• Communicates with customers to understand their business goals and objectives
• Develops technical and business requirements and always strives to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
• Produces high quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes
• Provides advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior
• Evaluates existing applications and evaluates their UX (user experience) effectiveness
• Uses sitemaps, process flowcharts, and storyboards for illustration and depiction of designs
• Reviews and edits the mockups according to the customer’s feedback
• Conducts user tests of developed applications to evaluate user experience
• Identifies design problems and devises elegant solutions
• Creates and implements interaction models and user interface specifications
• Establishes and promotes design guidelines, best practices and standards
• Creates wireframes and mockups for various user stories in order to meet the customer’s needs
• Performs usability tests with users, stakeholders and developers and verifies the results

• Bachelor/Master degree in Design, Architecture, Computer Science or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience as an as a UX /UI Designer, UI Designer, UX Designer or a similar role
• Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems and Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and customers
• Demonstrated ability to work with customers to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet customers’ needs and vision
• Demonstrated ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
• Artistic eye for design and the ability to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Demonstrated experience using wire-framing tools, storyboards and user flows
• Demonstrated experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions across multiple platforms (desktop, phone, etc.)
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
