Network Engineer

RARo is looking for a talented and highly motivated Network Engineer to be part of our newly founded team.

The successful candidate should be experienced in establishing, developing and maintaining a highly effective company network. The candidate must work well with a team of people who are committed to growing a company at a high speed.

• Maintain and control computer networks and related computing environments together with structures software, programs software, hardware, and configurations
• Configuration Network Solutions Cisco/Huawei within the scope of customer projects
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and other network and system problems
• Must perform disaster recovery operations and record backups when required
• Monitor overall network performance to decide if changes want to be made
• Must carry out the configuration of routing and switching equipment
• Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems
• Coordinating computer network access and use

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree – preferably in Computer Science / Information Technology or comparable technical degree
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware
• Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers
• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols
• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
• Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Dependable and flexible when necessary
• Network security experience
• LAN and WAN experience

• Very good computer literacy – MS Office
• Proficiency in English, German is an strong advantage
• Problem-solving and proven analytical capabilities
• Strong customer focus and organizational skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
